A Sweets Afternoon @Parvati (Part3)

Here's the last chapter of our afternoon at Parvati. It was truly a sweets afternoon, we felt so hyperglycemic afterwards. Anyway, in this chapter, a gourmet dessert is in the spotlight. They call it Frozen Brazo de Mercedes. Basically, its crushed grahams at the bottom, ice cream over it, and a hefty layer of brazo de mercedes on top.

This dessert really gives you all the different textures you'd want from a sweet treat. There's the cookie base, the ice cream part, and the custard and the egg pudding part. I reminds me of mango float and brazo de mercedes in just one treat. i think the only problem with this one is the fact that when it comes to sweets, I prefer fullness of taste over combos.

I loved brazzo so much we had to order another one but since it would be sorta weird to order the same thing in one sitting we tried this! Ice cream and brazzo de mercedes in one desert, what could go wrong, right? One thing, this desert is a bit queer. It can't decide if it wants to be a soft brazzo or a cold float. The desert itself is delicious but I feel that there is a conflict in the taste somewhere and I just can't point it out.
